Bad-Dreams
Where Good Dreams Turn BadTime Traveling to NY, The Wombat Mongoose
Posted on July 29, 2010My bad dream opened up immediately with me, my wife, and former co-workers Maria and Ianare appearing out of thin air in a New York harbor. I guess we had activated the time machine, and wanted to go on vacation, so we decided to go to New York…”20 years into the past”. Of course, 20 years into the past is only 1990, which was actually a crap year for NY, but we all thought it was a big deal to visit.
The most memorable part of this bad dream occurred when we got off the “Command Bus” into the city in front of a museum. It’s amazing how the murals were so yellow and red and LOUD, like some liberal urban youth experiment from the early 1980′s. We got off the bus, and it turns out more people came in on the time machine, such as my mother, friends Tony and Danny, and others.
Anyway, everyone was awestruck when we went into the large museum. Everyone kinda split up. That’s when I saw the glass tank containing two furry animals. They had the bodies of wombats, but the faces of mongooses. A young African American boy was in front of the tank, waving at them. These animals were so happy- they were smiling and seemed vastly intelligent, like sea otters, but with a hidden human intelligence.
My heart went out to these mammals…and after the boy left, I had them all to my own. They followed my hands, and almost laughed. The glass barrier prevented me from touching them, but they didn’t mind. The wombat mongooses wanted me to keep them company, and no one else was paying attention to them, but part of this vacation trip was to explore the museum, and I just couldn’t stay with them. Then I began to cry uncontrollably. I fell to one knee. The black boy came back, and others gathered. He asked me what was wrong. I pointed to the watch on my wrist because I couldn’t speak.
He didn’t get it. My friend Danny got it. He explained to everyone that these wombat mongooses are not alive in the year 2010.
Other parts of this bad dream?
- Jerry Sienfeld and Michael Kay were walking in the mall and were loving the sound of their voices.
- My mom wanted to buy expensive comic book trade paperbacks, and I told her I have them scanned on my computer, and it was a waste of money. She wanted to be happy though, but we already had a mini-debate, so when I caved in and picked her up Supreme, she refused it.
- So I went back into the past 20 years, and guess what I found? Commercials of the future (huh?) are even vulgar than the ones from today. It is socially acceptable for to see woman’s breasts with no covering in the future.
David Hasselhoff Beat Up In Prison
Posted on May 15, 2010Had a DREAM that Baywatch and Knight Rider star David Hasselhoff was attacked in prison on nationwide television. He was standing there in his blue prison outfit, and then he was attacked by a stocky white man with a buzzcut. The first punch bloodied David Hasselhoff’s face- the blood was like Mortal Kombat video games.
The prisoner then raped David Hasselhoff off camera. It was a very vicious scene and very distrurbing.
I felt bad for David. I woke up after this bad dream and felt dirty.
I’m really trying to figure out why I had such a vicious dream like that. I was frustrated earlier in the day because I spilled soup on my lap and bed- I was fuming for around 20 minutes. I may have subconciously implanted a “bad dream” seed into my unconscious. Who knows?
